With an elevation over 3,500 m and a prominence over 1,500 m, this glacier-covered mountain in Banff National Park is a popular (and deadly) climbing destination near Lake Louise.
On this spectacular January morning, the north face is strongly lit by the rising sun while the moon hovers above. The mountain is shrouded in spindrift — blowing snow which take on the appearance of mountain fog in the frigid air.
Because of the sidelighting, this composition really captures the boldness and strength of the facets and cliffs on the peak, giving it the appearance of an enormous cut gem emerging from the landscape. The deep blue sky and hovering moon reminds the viewer of the thinness of earth's atmosphere and how mountain peaks seem to reach up and touch the edge of outer space.
Available on archival canvas, printed by the artist using archival pigment inks. The print is expected to hold its vivid colors for over 100 years (hanging in direct sunlight may shorten print life).
Each print is personally signed by the artist and includes a certificate of authenticity.
Canvas prints include mirrored printed edges and are sealed with archival varnish. Canvas prints include an internal acid-free kiln-dried stretcher frame and hanger, so they are ready for hanging on your wall, right out of the box.

Printed on archival canvas with archival pigment inks and sealed with archival varnish. Inner stretcher frame is 1.5 inch thick kiln-dried basswood with a rounded profile for taut canvas stretch.
Prints above 30" on the long edge include one more more braces to stabilize the frame.
Includes mirror-edge effect, where 1.5" of the image is printed on the wrapped edge of the framed print.
Includes D-rings screwed into the frame and hanging wire to hang the print right out of the box.

$20 flat shipping fee for orders within 30 kms of Kelowna, BC. For shipping elsewhere in Canada and continental USA, a flat rate, shown at checkout, will be added to each order.
To return your product for a full refund, contact us within 14 days of product delivery via the Contact Page and request a Return Authorization number. We will then provide you with the information needed to ship the product back to us.

These high quality canvas prints are sealed with water resistant varnish. Remove dust with a light duster and remove splashes or stains gently with a clean, damp cloth. It is best to not display print in direct sunlight to prevent fading.
